Terms of use

These terms apply when you use the Hora app (“Hora”, “the app”), published by Remya Ar (“we”, “us”). By using the app you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Hora. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your data.

For entertainment only

Horoscopes, predictions, compatibility readings, moon guidance and chats with astrologers are provided for entertainment. They are not medical, psychological, legal, financial or other professional advice, and you shouldn't make important decisions based on them. Many horoscope texts are written with the help of AI.

Who can use Hora

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian, who accepts these terms on your behalf.

Your account

You sign in with Apple or Google. Keep access to that account secure; you're responsible for activity on your Hora account. You can delete your account at any time from Profile in the app.

Subscriptions and purchases

• Hora offers optional Premium subscriptions (monthly, 6-month and yearly) and packs of chat questions. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it ends when you buy a subscription.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in iPhone Settings > your name > Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Premium until the end of the period you've paid for.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policies. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
• Chat questions are used up when you send a question to an astrologer and can't be refunded once used.

Chats with astrologers

Our astrologers answer questions based on astrology and their own experience. Replies may be prepared with the help of AI tools and are reviewed by an astrologer before they're sent. Please don't share information in chats that you'd want to keep strictly confidential, such as passwords or health records.

Acceptable use

Don't use Hora to harass or threaten anyone, send unlawful or abusive content, impersonate others, try to access other people's accounts or our systems, copy or resell our content, or interfere with how the app works. We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

Your content

You own what you send us, such as chat messages and your profile photo. You give us permission to store and process it only as needed to run Hora, for example to show your chat history and let astrologers reply.

Our content

The app, its design, horoscopes, illustrations, meditations and other content belong to us or our licensors. You may use them for your own personal, non-commercial use within the app.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Hora running, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change, add or remove features. If we stop offering Hora, we'll tell you in advance where we can.

Liability

Hora is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on horoscopes or chats, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be excluded.

Apple

These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for Hora or its content, and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and Apple and its subsidiaries may enforce these terms as third-party beneficiaries.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, tell you in the app. If you keep using Hora after a change, the new terms apply.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live. Disputes may be brought before the competent courts of India or of your country of residence.
